Djaout was the subject of my first book, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskapress.unl.edu\/product\/Silence-Is-Death,671918.aspx\"><em>Silence is Death<\/em><\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/chroniquesdemontreal.blogspot.com\/search\/label\/Julija%20Sukys\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chroniquesdemontreal.blogspot.com\/search\/label\/Julija%20Sukys\">How pleased I was to read Belabdi&#8217;s description of my book: <\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Son livre est une m\u00e9ditation constante  sur la mort, la paternit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u0153uvre et le r\u00f4le des intellectuels. Ce  serait faire violence \u00e0 sa m\u00e9moire en r\u00e9duisant l\u2019homme \u00e0 un symbole.
