{"id":2126,"date":"2011-08-02T11:10:34","date_gmt":"2011-08-02T15:10:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/julijasukys.com\/?p=2126"},"modified":"2011-08-02T11:10:34","modified_gmt":"2011-08-02T15:10:34","slug":"job-opportunity-publicity-workshop-leader-canada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/julijasukys.com\/?p=2126","title":{"rendered":"Job Opportunity: Publicity Workshop Leader (Canada)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"photo sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/jasoon\/9305776\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/8\/9305776_c7dddacb1f_m.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Work with Writers from Coast to Coast<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Writers\u2019 Union is seeking two members who are subject matter experts and skilled presenters to create and deliver professional development workshops on the topic of <strong>\u201cHow to be Your Own Publicist.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Specifically we are seeking one member who can present on traditional but innovative book marketing and one who can present on maximizing digital marketing platforms and new media.\u00a0 Both presenters should have a track record of success in self-marketing and be engaging speakers.<\/p>\n<p>Each presenter will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 developing and delivering three-hour presentations in a series of full-day workshops in five Canadian cities,<\/p>\n<p>\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 developing and delivering a condensed presentation for two shorter webcast sessions, and<\/p>\n<p>\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 providing a 600-word article based on their presentation for publication in <em>Write<\/em> magazine.<\/p>\n<p>All workshops are expected to be delivered in February or March in 2012 and again in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Fees, travel and accommodation are paid in accordance with the program budget.<\/p>\n<p>The Professional Development program is made possible with assistance from the Department of Canadian Heritage.
